Here's the update i sent to the W@W website re: Preps Status of a June Bride.  I really can't squeeze much time to update our blog...geez...it's only 16 days to go...

 

Hi fellow W@WIes esp to all June brides! JUNE NA!!! This is it girls! We're in the last leg of preps. I hope everything is ok na esp those who will be getting married this week...bwena mano si Grace ni Joseph (today na!). Trina, Serg, Mari and Elise, sa weekend na kayo! Serg, kwentuhan mo ko kung ok ang service ng Patio ha? Trina, grabe na tlaga ang SG na yan ha...sarap na nga nila sakalin!!! Kakagigil sila!!! Doc Mina, kamusta na kayo ni Neil? Hope we can get together again sa July,after everyone and everything is settled na.

17 days to go na lang for us June 18 brides. Michel, how's d ever-OC june bride? Hehe! :-) Toni girl! Di na tayo masyado chika. Hope ok ka na. How r d rest of the june brides? Aggie! Wala ka pa rin nung last EB natin. Super ganda im sure ng wedding mo kc grabe ang preps mo ha! How are the rest of the june brides? Hope ok na lahat and walang pasaway na supplier. ;-)

AS for me, ok pa naman (i guess!). Prob ko lang talaga is we have a project ngayon sa office and assignment ko 2 buildings, due ang design 3rd week of june! WAAAHHH!!! I don't know how I'm doing it, pero I'm juggling my time as a bride-tobe, a structural designer and a QMR....but I think I'm doing well (kahit papano) kc our AO d2 sa office says I don't look harassed one bit...hehehe! 'Kala lang nila un...galing ko lang magdala ng stress. ;-)

Haayyy...with 3 weeks to go, here is the status of my wedpreps:

1)Marriage License: ok na. Got it last May 3; submitted na to Sta. Rita

2)Church: Sta. Rita de Cascia : Fully paid last May 28

- Baptismal/ Confirmation/CENOMAR Certificates: submitted na rin

- Canonical Interview April 6: done!
- Seminars (April 10 & 17): done!

- Parish Permits: done with and submitted na rin

- marriage banns: done last April 17, 24 and May 1

- List of Sponsors (8 pairs): given na the list to STa. Rita

- Misalette: DIY - WALA PA!! pero meron na template; will finalize pa the readings and still have to submit to Sta. Rita for approval
- Officiating Priest (from Sta. Rita)

- Confession: To do before the wedding day
- Readers/Lector: have choices na among my relatives friends
- Organist - c/o church

- Choir: Canto Cinco (a gift from my best friend & SS): given na the song list; will arrange for coordination ng choir and church organist
- Offertory gifts: Wala pa

- Flowers (pa-upgrade kami kay Mang Ferdinand kasi di ko type arrangement ng florist ng Sta. Rita)

- still to compose wedding vows



3)Ceremony Paraphernalia:
- Candles: bought Unity Candle from Acclaim; personalized match none pa

- Pillow and Veil: c/o designer (Winston); Cord: hoping pa rin na DIY swarovski; will ask my BM-niece to do it

- Arrhae: had my and h2b's collection of old coins silver-plated already from Macapagal's Jewelry atr P390 only!
- Wedding Rings:gift from MIL; engraved na rin from Macapagal's Jewelry at P80 only!

- dove release after the ceremony: doves from Patio Ibarra

4)Reception Venue: Patio Ibarra
- Payment: paid 50% last APril 24

- had food tasting na rin last April 24; asked for coffee station

- TO Finalize set-up, floor plan / seat plan; headcount (nasa 250 na guest list...for confirmation na lang)
- Guestbook: DIY

- Sound System - c/o Patio Ibarra
- Wine for the Toast - c/o Patio Ibarra; Champagne from dad’s collection
- Place cards: DIY

- DIY chocolate roses & silk butterflies for extra accent on centerpieces

- upgrade on flowers for Couple's Gazebo
- Emcee: ?????

- Program: will make own ????
- AVP: ?????
- LCD Projector: will borrow from the office

- have to give pa our picture for the tarpaulin



5) CAKE: Sugarbox - fully paid; will give na lang the cake charms to Emily hopefully this Sunday


6)Bridal Car: got Streetline's stretch limo (gift of my sis) + MB van (package na); fully paid

- have to fax the directions to our house



7)OTD Coordinator: volunteer super W@Wies Mec Sexy & Ayvi (ni Gail) - Thanks a lot mga sis! see you saturday! ;-)


8)Hair and Make-up: Midane Salon; paid 50%

- have to fax directions to our house



9)Photographer/Videographer: Vignette Photography

- paid 50%; prenups done last April 6;

- will discuss the type of shots I want

10)Bridal, Entourage, Moms’ Gowns: Winston Navarro
- Payment - 60%
- will pick up all gowns on June 5

- Undergarments: to buy pa

- shoes: will buy pa



11)Barongs and Pants: h2b - c/o Winston;

- rest of ento- kanya-kanya

- to buy h2b's paraphernalia (shoes, undergarments,etc.)


12)Jewelry: from mommy’s (gift)

13)Invitations & Map
- c/o C2 Handcrafted Creations: fully paid;

- distributed invites already

- Location map, DIY (CAD by my groomsman)

- Guest list: 250 na!!! for confirmation na lang (sana maging 200 na lng...hehehe!)

14)Flowers (bridal and entourage)

- c/o Ferdinand (Jariel’s Flower Shop Stall No. 16, Flower Market); D/P made; will meet with him this SUnday to discuss upgrade for the church

- reception centerpieces c/o Patio

- will ask decorations for staircase


15)Souvenirs/Favors

- small white oval religious frame for guests; big rectangular ones for the PS;

- will do packaging pa: have to buy plastic and blue tie twists

- will pick up the monogram stickers (from Robee Stickers) to put at the back of the frames

- add'l favors na choco butterflies placed in a small plastic sealed by the monogram stickers and with powder blue ribbon



16)Bridal showers – gift from my barkada: don't know when


17) Honeymoon

- Somerset Hotel for wedding night (GC I won from office Christmas Party; will confirm today

- considering Bohol or Dumaguete: depends kung pwede ako mag-leave ng matagal kasi nga may project kami sa office (for submission last week of June!) and I am one of the structural designers; most probably 1st week of July na lang kami mag-out-of-town

There!!! Did i miss any detail which needs to be addressed? Pls remind me na lang po.
